Teens Art Development Program

Service Description

Note: We do not accept students before 4pm, as they can not be safely supervised before this time. If your teens are arriving and leaving class on their own, please see the front counter (or email us) for a permission slip that will need to be filled out. Due to the popularity of our classes, please book ahead to ensure a place as spots fill up quickly, often before the term starts! Students must be booked in before attending class. Students will gain confidence in working with new, experimental concepts as well as gain knowledge in art history to produce creatively in a fun, encouraging environment. This class successfully allows our teens to explore the diverse world of the visual arts, beyond what is taught in school. Our classes are taught by experienced practicing artists and delve into an amazing array of materials , concepts and techniques. The studio is fully equipped to provide a wide experience for our students. These include glass fusing, ceramics, mosaics, acrylic pouring, polymer clay, jewellry, resin moulding as well as painting, sculpture and a firm foundation of drawing. We draw influences from contemporary artists and from art history to fully round out our students education.
